Boomer Women--Too Late for Estrogen?
Just when I thought I was ready to break down and try hormone replacement therapy, I read this article in the NY Times Magazine. It seems that, with the exception of boomer women on the younger edge of the continuum, many of us are already too old to use estrogen to smooth out the menopausal and post-menopausal crazies. Cynthia Gorney explains the 'timing hypothesis' of estrogen's benefits and risks. Bummer.

Hello, what about natural remedies. I am sure you've tried a few that have not worked but there are new supplements that are highly effective for pre & postmenopausal women!

I'm a mom of teens ages 14-18, I have come to the point in my married life that I can say the prime has passed and the excitement deteriorated. But one day a friend visited me and I was surprised at how young she looks considering that she is 4 years older than me! Then she introduced me to REVIVE SP from the Purity12's line of products. And the rest is history for the name stood up to its promises. Fine lines are gone and it made my skin supple. Not only was my skin revived but also my married life! Thanks much Purity12! http://if1s.com?111

Even if you take HRT as you enter menopause, most doctors won't allow you to take them more than 10 years. The health risk is there and sooner or later we have to face our age.

I've been using bio-identical hormones for several years now, every since that nurse's study that proved how dangerous the big pharma "horse's urine" estrogen we were getting was. I have nothing but good things to say about this -- and it's betting easier and easier to find MD's who will prescribe natural hormones.
