But I Don't Feel Good!--Boomers' Health
Thursday, June 7, 2007

As we watch carefully to see what, if any, healthcare makeovers are on the horizon, there is one disturbing detail that will affect boomers. This could leave many of us with alternatives that are either more expensive, more restricted or both.

An article this past spring in the New York Times, does a good job of covering the issue and some alternatives, including walk-in urgent care centers and concierge doctors. Whatever the choice, boomers stand to lose in this equation.

Question is, how would Pres.Obama handle this? Would he really let the baby boomer generation on the losing end?

From my understanding, the cut on physician reimbursement is on hold until end of 2011. It is part of the 12-month-fix that the senate is working on. Hopefully, senate would be able to find a better solution to address the issue.
