While reading, Grandma Boomers, just the kind of well-written, edgy boomer blog I delight in, I came across a link to this from a thirty-something. She likes us, she really likes us. As used to boomer bashing as I am, it was delightful to find a Gen-Xette who actually admires us. OK--her web site uses funny colors and is really hard to read without enlarging the text--and she makes a few spelling errors--but I'll take being idealized over trashed any day.

Thanks i think. Hee hee. I was going for the whole rainbow effect with the different colors. I am extremely anal retentive when it comes to my spelling and grammar. Although I do tend to invent my own words on occasion such as: destress. Not to be confused with distress. destress = unstress. it just sounds more "flowy" I think. Pardon the defensiveness. I believe I obtained it from having to explain myself to all the closed-minded Gen-Xers. I'm really just thankful and appreciative someone noticed what I had to say and that it mattered.

Thanks oodles and oodles ;)

I wasn't really busting you on spelling (although you mixed up 'complement' and 'compliment'--what can I say? I do words for a living). Hard to imagine we'll be doddering 'old hippies' soon, but I can easily imagine the demands put on gerontologists and on our children--"where's my high-speed internet acess?" "Do you have the yogurt with active cultures?" "But how much can I grow for medicinal use?" "Well if it's too loud, get me noise-reducing headphones!" "Sure you can move home after college--here's the rent bill and don't touch my stash."

Thanks for allowing us a GenX-eye view that doesn't just uniformly trash us for being 75 million strong.

I want to get the Boomers into the podcasting world.

I just created a podcast and am listed on itunes at apple.com.

It is humor for the Baby Boomer Babes. Hip and humorous with the appropriate satire.

Check it out.www.wakitalk.com

I'm just discovering the joys of sticking with my generation.

GO GIRLS.
