The NSA and Me
I'm really hurt. Seems like the NSA is not monitoring my communications, electronic or otherwise. I just feel so left out now that anybody who is anybody is being tapped, collected, and analyzed. I mean, what more do I have to do to get noticed?!
It's not like I haven't tried:
I had a friend 30 years ago whose parents were from Palestine.
About ten years ago, I bought an Afghani war rug on eBay. In fact, I own several afghans--doesn't that count?
I've downloaded subversive music like old Tom Lehrer songs and Country Joe and the Fish singing about Viet Nam.
I'm pretty sure I have some clothes made in Korea--and it could even be North Korea for all I know.
I once rented Thief of Bagdhad from the video store.
I used the word 'Iraq' in Scrabble just last week.
And we all know what a hotbed of dissent this website is too.
But yet again, we fail to make the (NS)A List.

Oh, now you've done it. You may not have the NSA on yer ass, but you admitted to downloading music and now you have the recording industry to deal with. Good luck!

We don't have time to pay attention to all the old hippies that have to whine about the goverment so they can get some attention. Just call the old folks home nurse to turn on matlock and bring you some nice jello pudding. You would think that you have enough to do cashing in your social security checks and organizing your pill planner for the next month. get a life or get a job gramps. Mc Donalds still employes you hearst jockeys right?
