Once again you did not do your homework. You see the marketing professionals know that your spending decreases when you hit 55 (the majority of boomers turned 55 in 2001). So boycott all you want the industry is ready. They know you wont be upgrading your house, you may upgrade your car a couple more times, you donât by as many clothes (your not going to as many functions outside of work, and you donât really care or want the coolest clothes), your entertainment costs are down (bet your not buying two to three CD's a week or video games). Its simple math. I know all you boomers are going to get mad, but itâs true. Here is why my generation are frustrated with your generation. We want time to enjoy our time. Isn't that easy to understand. We donât want to take over; we just want some of the prosperity that your generation has enjoyed. We are always told how you did not save for retirement and such, even though your generation went through some of the most prosperous times of any generation. I read a post here that said your generation was not expecting the market crash and Enron. No one was, but if you would have started saving when my generation was born you would be set now. Just please donât rob my generation and future generations so you can hit golf balls around comfortably.

First of all;I'm neither Conservative or LIberal.I'm just a tenth generation Scots-Irish SOB who's seen and heard enough from both sides of the Spectrum
to say "Shut Your Furking Mouths Already!!".
Conservatives,Ronald Reagan is dead and the 80's are over!!
Liberals, the Kennedy's are dead and the Sixties are over!!
Get with the furking program already!!
I don't Golf!!I don't Bowl either!!
You know, not every boomer is either a Liberal Tree Hugger or Conservative Fat Cat!!
Most of us are out there pushing along trying to make ends meet!!

Gen Xers;
Why do you hate us??Being 47,I've worked with both Generations.
Yes,there are annoying people in both groups.
But for the most part, not every boomer buys a BMW when he hits 40 and gets a Trophy wife!!
And not every Gen Xer goes out and gets peirced and tattooed either!!
My youngest Brother is an Xer,but he holds down a good job and is Married and has a Daughter.(He's 37)
My Nephew is Married and has a Daughter as well.(He's 33)
And my Neice is also an Xer who's Married to a wonderful guy.(She's 30)
Just as every boomer isn't shallow and materialistic, nor is every xer sullen and cynical.
If you drink beer, your'e my friend.

In 2010 the first of what I see as the 'First Generation Baby Boomers' - (Those Born Between 1940/45 - 1955, who were 25-40-years-old in 1980, also known as the Yuppies), will be 70 and some people say it will be the 'Begining of the End of an Era' and 'It's Time to Pop Open the Champagne Bottles - Because Then It Will Be Our Time To Take Charge'. But something tells me the 'Baby Boomers' wont retire quietly and will try to Hyjack the rest of the first half of the 21st Century and if they could the Last Half too. However 2025 should see the final end to the 'Baby Boomer Era', as the last of the 'First Generation Baby Boomers' will turn 70 and on their way to Witherdom... The 'Second Generation Baby Boomers' - (Born from 1956-1965), don't seem that bad, infact I tend to get along with those who are 8 to 17 years older than myself. It's the first lot who tend to put the younger generations down, well not all of them, but some... Anyway I'm thinking that 2025 will be a glorious time whatever people think about the dreaded 'Baby Boomers'... As a Mid-Young-Adult - (25-45-year-olds), I am proud of some of the achievements that the 'Baby Boomers' have accomplished and in away I do look up to some of them, as they are in their Middle-Age - (50-69) now, mature adults, my elders, and as Junior Pensioner's or JP's for short - (70-89) I hope they will continue to have their fun, but not at our expense obviously and I even hope some of them make it to their Young OAPs - (90's) and Senior OAP - (100+) years, but they have to let us have our chance to take charge, they can't Hyjack the 21st Century, that is Just NOT Fair... It is Bad Enough have to put up with those 'Student Adults' - (18-24-year-olds) and the Late-Young-Adults - (45-49-year-olds, who Moan and whinge about becoming Middle-Aged and Elderly, when they can do that when they are Middle-Aged and Elderly) without 'them' stealing our chances... Besides this I wish them all the Best in their old age...

‘1st Generation – Baby Boomers’ or ‘True Baby Boomers’ – (Who would have been 25–40-years-old in 1980, the main Business Men & Women, who would have mostly shaped the 1980s along side the Middle-Aged and the 41 to 49 year-olds at the time) – (Born from 1940 to 1955).
‘2nd Generation – Baby Boomers’ or ‘The Hangers-on’ or ‘Followers of the True Baby Boomers’ or ‘Kling-ons’ - (Born from 1956 to 1965).
Generation Xers – (Born from 1966 to 1982).
Generation Y’s – (Born from 1983 to 1995).
‘1st Millennial Generation’ or ‘Generation Z’ or ‘Blair’s Kids’ – (Born from 1996 to 2010).
‘2nd Millennial Generation’ – (Born from 2011 to 2030).
‘3rd Millennial Generation’ – (Born from 2031 to 2050).
Generation Explore – (Born 2051 to 2100) – (Who will be 1-years-old to 50-years-old in 2101) – (This Generation will take us well into the 22nd Century and the Third Millennium – They will Explore the Outer Reaches of our Solar System and Beyond).
GOOD LUCK TO THEM…
