If you can't find music you like here, you just don't like music. From opera singer Frederica Von Stade to David Grisman to Beethoven or Gershwin, it's all here. And Savannah's not bad either.

About the: Savannah Music Festival

Spanning an impressive fifteen days, The Savannah Music Festival brings nearly 100 world class musicians to the southeast March 21-April 4, 2004. Appealing to a wide range of music lovers, the festival will highlight a broad mix of musical genres to include Classical, Blues, Jazz, Opera, Gospel, Zydeco, Latin and Southern Alternative Music.

The festival venue is the picturesque southern city of Savannah, Georgia where true music aficionados will find an eclectic mix of activities from concerts and educational programs to the ever-popular American Traditions Competition for rising vocal stars. Ticket prices vary from $15 to $60, with most in the $20 to $30 range and some events are free of charge.

A scholar and producer, Rob Gibson is at the helm of the Festival for the second year. Mr. Gibson is best known as the founding and long term director of Jazz at Lincoln Center in New York City.
