We're not sure this is what the original promoters had in mind when they dreamed up Woodstock back in 1969, but apparently, the sweet tooth that we had back then can be relived at this web site.

The Woodstock Candy Company

See if you remember any of the yummie retro candies available. Get me a carton of those candy cigarettes. I can't light them up, but at least I can flaunt them in a Bar in New York City.

Nice. Loved chocolate cigarettes and lots of those. They don't have one of my favorites, though. Those little wax bottles filled with some kind sweet liquidy something or other and packaged in a tiny sixpack.

Oh yeah----don't remember what they were called, but I do remember chewing on the wax 'top' long after the liquid was gone. Was probably made from post-nuclear waste.

I remember Butternut Bars, Good News, Big Hunk and LOOK. And my halloween favorites, Sugar Daddy and Sugar Babies. I also remember those malt tablets, we used to pretend they were aspirins.

Why hasn't anyone mentioned PEZ? My recollection was the always-empty dispenser. It took about 30 seconds to go through the candy and you were left with a swivel-headed something-or-other. There seems to be a cult of PEZ collectors... check it out here:

You forgot PEZ!! They were so much fun. And, now they are back for our grandkids to enjoy. I still each NECCO wafers every chance I get. Sugar Babies are still the best.
